Day 19 Alice Springs – Tennant Creek
Today started by packing up from Alice Springs to go to Tennant Creek. The road was quite boring as it is directly straight with no change in the scenery whatsoever. We did pass the Tropic of Capricorn, though. The Tropic of Capricorn is the furthest south the sun travels down the earth, so at mid-day, it is directly overhead. It also marks the point of going into the tropics. After that, we went to the Devils Marbles which looked really good. I thought there was only like 1 rock, but there was so many, and the rocks went on for so far. There was also this really cool rock that was split perfectly in half. After that, we kept driving a while to Tennant Creek and set up the van before going to sleep.
