Day 11 Uluru

We started off the day by getting up at 9 to drive to the Uluru base walk, which is a grade 3/moderate walk. Even though it was only a grade 3 walk, it was still an 11-kilometre walk. It was pretty good, but since we had walked so much recently, I was pretty sick of walking and I didn’t have anything to entertain me. We finished the walk at around 1 o’clock and went to a cafe to eat lunch. I ate a kangaroo pie and it actually tasted really good. Kangaroo tastes exactly like strong beef. After we relaxed in the van for a while, we drove out to Kata Tjuta to watch the sunset there as it glows bright red when the setting sun shines on it, exactly like Uluru. We watched it while eating dinner and it looked really good! After that, we came back to the van so I could go to sleep. Tomorrow we are going to Kings Canyon so that will be another big walk.
