Day 15 Alice Springs

We started today by driving into Alice Springs. After we looked around a bit and looked through some shops, we drove to Anzac Hill which is an Australian war memorial. It was pretty cool, and it had a really good view of Alice Springs. After that, we went to buy pool noodles for the hot springs that we are going to soon. After that, we ate lunch and then went to the reptile museum. The reptile museum opened with a bunch of snakes and goannas which was really cool. The next room had some massive pythons in it that looked like they could easily strangle something, as well as some frilled-neck lizards. Then we went into the outside bit, we saw some lizards and some really big goannas. After that, there was the crocodile exhibit. It was a 30-year-old saltwater crocodile which 3.3 meters long. It was sitting under the water when we first came but we saw it go up to the surface for air. After it went to the surface, it saw us and stayed up there to keep an eye on us. In the next enclosure, there was some water goannas which were swimming around which looked c00l. Another enclosure had some thorny devils which were really spiky, and they were also really tiny! After that, we bought some things from Coles and went back to the van to have dinner. Then we played a game of Rummikub and went to bed.
