Day 23 Katherine

Today started a bit later than usual, because we went to Edith Falls to do the walk there. The Edith Falls Walk is a grade 3/moderate walk that takes 2 hours. You can also swim in the pools that accumulate at the bottom of the waterfall, but we didn’t because it was very cold in the water. The walk goes up a mountain to the right of the waterfall and the first part is pretty fun because you have to climb over rocks and ledges to get to the top. Once you get all the way up, you can go to the lookout, or the upper pool. We went to the lookout first, which looked really good as you could see the entire waterfall and pool at the bottom. Then, we went to the upper pool which looked great and we dipped our feet in to the water for about 10 minutes. After that, we kep walking and made it to the end pretty quickly. The last part of the walk was less interesting because it was much more flat and quite straight. Then, we came back to the van and relaxed until it was dinner time. We had baked potatoes for dinner. After that, we went to bed.
