Day 72 Margaret River
We got up in the morning and it was raining outside so we quickly got in the car and drove to all the food places in Margaret River. The first place we went to was the Nougat Factory which had a really nice outlook on a lake which was on the same level as the factory. There were lots of different nougat in there and I got a mango and macadamia one. The next place we went was the Providor. The Providor is a place that has lots of sauces, jams and different cooking things. There were lots of oils there and Mum bought some olive oil. There were also lots of taste testing things there and I had a lot of fun taste testing all the different jams and sauces. We then went to the Margaret River Chocolate Factory. It had dark, milk and white chocolate for taste testing which was really good. I ate a lot of chocolate from the taste testing part, and I think I nearly got a blocks worth for free. I also bought a block of ruby chocolate which was only for sale for a limited time apparently. We went into the Nuts and Cereal Factory next. It wasn’t that exciting, and it only had a few cereals, and I don’t even like nuts. We went into the Diary Factory after that, and the dairy products were really amazing. All the cheeses were delicious, and the yoghurt was incredibly yum. We bought 3 yoghurts and 2 blocks of cheese there. After that, we went to the ice-cream shop which had some really good ice-cream, and it was pretty good. Even though it was freezing cold and pouring rain, I still enjoyed it. We tried to go to a fire cooked bread place, but they were out of bread when we got there. Luckily, Nana and Pa went there before and got a loaf of bread for us which was nice. When we got back, I was pretty tired and cold, so I just stayed in the van for the rest of the day, but Mum and Dad went to look at the Margaret River which looked really good with all its plants and super still water. I just stayed in the van until we went to bed.
