Day 82 Esperance
We got up in the morning and went to some walks along the beach. The first one went over some granite rocks which went through to a rock just above the beach. The water in the beach looked so blue and the sand was so white. There was also a rocky outcrop in the water which contrasted really well. We kept continuing the loop after that and went past a little island with the water around it going from a sandy colour all the way into a deep blue. The first walk ended by a lookout that went over the incredibly bright blue water. The second walk started by going past the towns water system, then through a pretty long bushy path that ended on a granite rock sloping down to the beach. It was a pretty steep slope, but we got down it and started going down a sandy path that was basically a really small-scale gorge. We didn’t get all the way to the beach, though, because we were running out of time and there were lots of march flies biting us on the way down. We climbed back up the rock after that and backtracked all the way to the car where we drove back to the van. We got lunch after that and stayed in the van for the rest of the day until dinner. Today was our last place where we stayed multiple days, so it was really our last relaxed day. So, we went to a restaurant for dinner which was pretty good. I had gummy shark with chips, and I liked it a lot. We drove back to the van after that and went to bed.
