Day 86 Ceduna – Port Augusta

When we got up in the morning, we towed Nana and Pas van into a site in the caravan park and then packed up our van to go to Port Augusta. Unfortunately, Nana and Pa will have to stay behind until their car is fixed so we had to say goodbye in Ceduna. It was a 4-hour drive today, so it was around the average length of driving that we have done on the trip. Not much happened and we stopped on a small dirt resting spot to have lunch. We made nachos for lunch, though, so that was good. While we were driving, we went past these massive fields of wheat that went on for kilometres. We also stopped at a town which had a really big statue of a Macaw which looked pretty good. It was pretty weird to get back to Port Augusta because we had been there so long ago and so much had happened in between. We actually finished the loop of Australia then as well. We drove past the road to Coober Pedy and Alice Springs which we had gone down at the very beginning. We got dinner after we set up the van in the caravan park and then we went to bed. Today was day 86 and we will be at home by the afternoon of day 88.
